MINI-JUMPS REPLY: Dear Anna, We are sorry you are frustrated by the cost of Mini-jumps but we would offer the following explanation:
Mini-jumps are actually the cheapest jump on the market that is safe, durable and can be stored easily when finished with. There are no metal fittings, paints that stain or materials that produce splinters. The dyes used to colour the uprights are child safe and environmentally friendly. The crossbars use food hygiene standard plastics to help protect your and your friends in use.
Mini-jumps are made in England and we believe in supporting British Manufacturing. We could make them cheaper in China, but we have visited those factories and have concerns over the way things are done in some places.
We appreciate Mini-jumps are a big purchase and not something mums and dads (or your pocket money) can buy all the time. Most Mini-jumps are special presents from parents or gran parents for a lucky girl or boys birthday or christmas. Perhaps they are something to put on your wish list for then if you would like some?
In the meantime visit the site again as soon we will be adding some downloads and other fun stuff to keep you busy while you think about some jumps. There is also a competition every month in Horse & Pony on the cringe page where you can win a set of jumps so it might be worth entering that- you never know you're luck!?
